SPRL Undergradaute Students
Nicole Smith is currently a senior at Utah State University. She is getting her major in Psychology and her minor in Spanish because she not only speaks Spanish after an extended stay in Argentina, but she also very much enjoys the multiracial family dynamic involved in psychology. After receiving her Bachelor's she wants to go on and earn her Master's in school psychology. She is a volunteer in Dr. McClain Verdoes's research lab and is very excited to join this excellent team. She is also volunteering as an assistant to a clinical therapist on the USU campus and has enjoyed volunteering as a translator at Logan High School in the past. Besides these things, she enjoys running, hiking, reading, playing any sport, and spending time with impactful people.
Jennifer Ha is a sophomore at Utah State University studying psychology and global communications. She is a member of USUSA Government Relations Council, and volunteers in Dr. Tchanz lab and Dr. McClain Verdoes’s research lab. She plans to pursue medical school after her time at USU and study neuroscience and pediatrics. She loves working with children and enjoys listening to the rambling stories. In her free time, Jenn loves to hike, spend time with her friends and family, and visit used book stores.
Lynda Tobar is a senior at Utah State University, majoring in Communicative Disorders. After receiving her Bachelor's degree she plans to get her Master's in Speech Pathology. She is a volunteer with Dr. Maryellen Verdoes in the School Psychology Research Lab, and is excited for this opportunity. Her interests include children with neurological disorders and seeing how it affects their lives. Outside of school, she enjoys playing volleyball on the USU Women's Club Volleyball team, going to Disneyland, and spending time with friends and family.
