SPRL Undergradaute Students
Genovieve Gibson is a senior at Utah State University studying Psychology and Human Development. After graduation, she plans to continue her education and earn a Master’s degree in either School Counseling or School Psychology. She enjoys working with children and aspires to work in a school where she can improve the education of young students. Currently, she is an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. McClain Verdoes in the School Psychology Research Lab and is working on a project investigating the impacts of background noise on children with ASD. For fun, Genovieve enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.
Jack Fjeldsted is a senior at Utah State University who is pursuing a degree in Psychology. After graduation, he plans to pursue a Master's Degree in either Clinical Psychology or Human Resources. Psychology appeals to him because he enjoys working with people and is interested in learning about why they behave the way that they do. He currently is a volunteer for Dr. McClain Verdoes in the School Psychology Research Lab and is working on a project investigating the effects of mindfulness on attention and academic stress on college students. In his free time, Jack enjoys spending time with his wife, playing guitar, trying delicious food, and cheering on the Yankees.
